It collects, preserves and provides access to archival government records such as council minutes, by-laws, and reports, as well as non-government records such as letters, diaries, photo albums and other records about Peel individuals, families, groups, businesses, and organizations. The holdings occupy close to 2 km of linear shelf space and includes nearly 2 million photographs, as well as moving images, maps, plans, land records and many other unique and revealing items that tell the story of Peel.
